Review on Enhance Performance with GM Genuine Parts TF950 Spin On Automatic Transmission Fluid Filter by Jason Martinez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

98 because I like to use OE when the price is at China level.

Made in the USA, Bought on sale for $14.98 because I like using original equipment when the price is like Chinese junk. Now (3-28-15) they're $22.25, so buy a few for future service when they go back on sale, or just order an Allison filter (same Delco part number), they are probably made by the same and the same supplier. Delco doesn't manufacture anything. I always change the spin on the Allison filter to 5000 when servicing the engine oil and Duramax filter, the filters are cheap, there is no gearing. And don't forget to clean and replace the particle magnet, it could be on the transmission filter housing around the filter threads or stuck to the filter.

Pros
  • Has an airtight seal that virtually eliminates line pressure loss
Cons
  • Not bad
