I needed a folding chair for our RV and ordered it. It folds up easily enough (it can be done with one hand) and is quite strong, although I would doubt it if you're a tall person because when you stand on it it seems to sag a bit in the middle. The stand in place is enough to stand on, but you need to know where your feet are. If there's one change in that, it's to increase that space. I have a clunky model at home that takes up more space and I wish this model had that much space. Overall it will serve a purpose in a camper van for getting to those higher places and I love the fact that it folds up to take away.
