Review on Performance Tool W38120 8 Inch Sliding by Michael Wehrman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Didn't know how easy it would be to type something.

I am preparing the engine to replace my 1990 Chevy K2500 and had to do some work on the exhaust manifold and strip the intake manifold threads. I didn't have a faucet handle big enough for a 9/16" faucet so I decided to try this with the Lisle I70500 Lisle LI70500 Socket Set. 8 inches like this couldn't be easier. Someone screwed up the threads in the head bolt hole by putting the wrong size bolt in so I had to drill a new hole in a hard to reach spot so this kit made it easy to add an extension to my T-handle and I could get it to the hole easily. Well worth the money and for me it was a 5 star investment. If there's one downside, it's the lack of latches on the right, left, and center to keep the bar in place. However, this can become a problem in tight spaces, as sliding with one hand makes it difficult to slide.

Pros
  • Polished nickel chrome finish resists corrosion
Cons
  • Damaged
