Review on Air Lift 75627 Rear Suspension by Stephen Johnson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Have a good trip, rough setup.

Works well after installation, but the installation is quite rough; Much harder than my previous downhill kit. The rear instructions are poor compared to the front ones. Two blind bolt nuts on each side. I highly recommend cutting the allen wrench very short to gain access to the recessed screw of the flat head base flange to keep it from turning. Check the installation of the 3/8” bolt and flange nut used to attach the upper bracket to the vehicle body. One bolt had to be punched to clean the threads and both flanged nuts had to be trimmed to remove excess paint stuck to the threads. There is no way to reach/hold the flange nut, just a lot of hope and prayer until the bolt screws itself up. Cleaning them first will save you a headache. I'm pretty mechanical, but this backward mindset has made my kids and neighbors learn some new words, or at least new phrases. In the end he rides well, falls deep enough. press the rim a little and does what it should. I'm afraid I'll ever have to remove/replace them.
