serial number removed! Normally my computer detects something external as soon as it connects to the network. Not this Asus External Slim 8X DVD-RW Stylish Cut Design optical drive. Nothing. I couldn't even find it on my devices like it wasn't there. When I couldn't even install this on my ASUS computer, I went online and watched a YouTube video of a man demonstrating how to install this DVD drive. The man took it out of the box and looked it up and down. I also looked at the bottom and noticed that it has something I don't have. Serial number! No wonder!
