What a fantastic, unusual lens. I bought this lens solely for underwater macro photography and am very happy with the results. That being said, there are a few things to consider before jumping into it (no pun intended). First, this thing needs a lot of light. a lot of. Even with fairly powerful LEDs just inches from your subject, you still need to crank up your ISO to get a decent shutter speed (f/14 is wide open on the lens!). Consider using studio flashes if you have access to them. Second, any sensor dust (and I mean EVERYTHING) will be clearly visible in your images. The plane of focus also means that anything on the front element is far more distracting than on other lenses.
