12V DC/DC converter converts down to 6V/3A
Purchased to step down 12V car batteries to working voltage for various emergency radios in our stock/accessories that require 6V to compatible connectors for connecting to a power source and an input device. 3 bought and 3 tested; everything worked perfectly. Because these gearboxes are inexpensive and made in China, redundant units are required for their intended purpose. The entry and exit sides are marked on the label in very small type. Advise the user to make larger markings on the endplates.
