Very Poor Product in Parts

THIS LAST LAST 3 lock/unlock cycles before internal locking, resulting in door not opening. I had to cut a hole in the door to access the mechanism, remove the screws holding it together and then drill out the rivets holding it together, all with the door closed because there is no way to open the door with it the mechanism failed when closed. Again I had to CUT THE DOOR with a grinding wheel to open the door this product was installed in after 3 lock/unlock cycles. There seems to be a design flaw with this mechanism - I've replaced both front door latch mechanisms with Dorman 931-303 and -304 and they seem to work the same as the original OEM mechanisms, but the rear right (-327) does NOT work. as an OEM; If you manually press the lock button on this device, it jams and the lock can no longer be opened. I'm talking about the second one and it behaves the same way - of course I don't have the second one installed. I had to destroy the first one to open the door and it remains to be seen if Revane will return my money if I send the parts back. Will update this review as soon as I know. My advice is to look elsewhere. I had already assembled the door when I decided to take a picture, but I took a picture of what was left of the driveway after it was removed. 4 hours of my life are gone and will never be replaced.
