This is a solid piece of metal. Pretty easy to install, but there are two problems. 1) The antenna bolt hole is larger than 3/8 of the pole, so when installing, be careful not to ground the center terminal. 2) it's tilted 5-10 degrees to the right, which looks weird as hell. decent deal, so I was able to gouge out the mounting holes a bit to adjust them a bit so the antenna is pointing straight up. And I have the knowledge how to insulate a larger than usual antenna mounting hole. If I didn't have the tool I would return it. acceptable.
