Setting up the device is not difficult. There, in fact, there is nothing to configure. The entire setup was done by connecting the router (Zyxel Keenetic Extra) and TL-WA850RE via WPS (then I looked into the device’s admin panel, but there’s really nothing to configure there). It is curious that the firmware (device version v1) is installed by default with a code (release date) that is not in the firmware posted on the tp-link website (maybe for some service "markers", they say the user sewed / no). In principle, it doesn’t matter, I didn’t sew, because the date inside the adapter was newer than on the site. About the shortcomings - it blocks the adjacent 220V socket. "Cuts" the speed. FHD can no longer be viewed (on the built-in Wi-Fi in LG with "view FHD" everything was fine, but there was another problem - disconnections and loss of the signal source). Those. The stability of the connection has increased - there are no breaks. The possibilities of the amount of transmitted information have decreased. Now only something like 1024x576 is not higher. TV 42'' may be critical on some films, but in general it is quite tolerable. The goal has been achieved - you can watch the movie without swearing at the cliffs and without rewinding to the moment where it "lost". I will recommend to buy, because. I do not know the device "more successful" for this task (do not offer a wire =). Something better will appear, buy and "test"
