Pretty but not very high quality

This teapot is nice, big and good value. These are the positive aspects. It's thin and covered in copper-colored paint (or something like that). Copper scratches easily when taken out of the box. It had a strong metallic odor. I rinsed it twice and then filled it twice and boiled water in it. There is also a metallic smell. I thought maybe the water wouldn't hurt, so I made myself a cup of tea. My tea had a certain metallic taste. I'm a tea snob and have high expectations for my daily tea. It didn't help.
