Having now owned an Ibobber for about a year and used it dozens of times, here are my thoughts. It does the job of depth and marks some fish. If the water is very choppy it won't stay connected, but that's to be expected with cordless fishing. It's nice to have the backlight and the range is good for shore fishing. I've used it on my pontoon and it helps a lot when I'm not too shallow. I don't like Apple, it took me a while to update the firmware but I just had to try a few times. When the bottom is showing it should have an indicator letting you know if you are winding too fast or too slow. That's all, but happy fishing to all who buy it.
