Your broken cap cost me $120 to fix

Based on my experience I would give this device zero stars if I could. A defective cover from this seller cost me $120 in non-refundable troubleshooting expenses from a Hyundai dealer. Revain refunded the cap but I lost $120. Based on my experience, I recommend purchasing a cover from a Hyundai dealer or other seller that fully matches their product. Story: The check engine light came on on a 2014 Electra. The dealer reinstalled it and recommended trying a new gas cap when it comes back. It reappeared and I bought the cap from this seller because of the cost and convenience. Mistake! Now that the engine light was blinking twice, and with this new, presumably good, gas cap, the dealer ran a "smoke test" to find a leak in the system. They showed me a video of smoke coming out of the gasket around the gas cap that I bought. The dealer turned on the gas they had and the leak was gone. Revain has reimbursed the cost of the cap by not posting Revain or the seller's actual offer when there is someone other than the seller who is reimbursed for the merchant's troubleshooting fee. Do yourself a favor, buy a lid. Hyundai dealers or other retailers that fully support the product.
