I replaced my old cap because it didn't click. This cap is nice and does the job but seems different, not sure if it's because of the quality or maybe because it's new.

Bought to replace an old gas cap that failed the emissions test. The gas cap looked good and fit as expected. The check engine light is off. Re-emission test passed. It doesn't click, and the tester didn't like it. I will be purchasing an OEM cover from a Hyundai dealer.

A leaking fuel cap can cause the check engine light to come on, performance issues that mimic a bad fuel pump, and a diagnostic headache. (expensive). Try this before asking the store to scan the codes.

Not for 2008 Hyundai Elantra. CEL not deleted because it was free. Just clicked once. Not 3 times. This is supposed to be an OEM part. But it was a Chinese fake. Save time and go to the auto parts store instead of ordering this one. 6 dollars cheaper than this one

Very easy assembly and perfect fit. Still works like new on my 2013 Genesis Coupe. Simply remove the old cable with pliers and plug in the new one. Take this time to clean any debris from the fuel insert bushing and detail the surrounding areas that most likely require urgent attention.

Should pay more attention to other reviews. Whilst this item appears to fit, the one I received does not make the required 'click' even though it is stamped on the item. I took the car to the mechanic and they checked where the gas cap would be and they said there was no problem so the problem is in the cap itself.

My wife's check engine light came on and we checked the code on it. Apparently the sensor is connected to the gas cap. Everything is fine with the tank cap, but the check does not go out. I bought it to replace it in the hope that it will fix the problem. I disconnected her battery to reset the check engine light. We've had it for about a week and the check engine light didn't come on. It fitted a little tighter than the original but has been a good replacement so far.

Based on my experience I would give this device zero stars if I could. A defective cover from this seller cost me $120 in non-refundable troubleshooting expenses from a Hyundai dealer. Revain refunded the cap but I lost $120. Based on my experience, I recommend purchasing a cover from a Hyundai dealer or other seller that fully matches their product.
