These gloves are a great option for those with small hands as they are one of the few that come in different sizes. I received them as a gift and the person they are for has rather small hands. They fit very well and offer comfortable finger movement. A good fit also allows for much better finger mobility, which is another huge plus when working with animals. The leather offers good protection but is not so bulky that it causes problems or makes it difficult to handle pets while wearing it. The skin is thick enough to handle cat/dog claws and minor bites with ease. They probably won't survive a big dog bite, but frankly, anything is unlikely to withstand a strong bite from a big dog. The gloves are long enough to offer full forearm protection and also protect a decent portion of the upper arm. They are easy to put on or take off. Great pair of animal protection gloves and the small size is perfect for smaller hands. No complaints at all.
