Review on 🏌️ Optimize Your Golf Game with the Garmin Approach S10 GPS Golf Watch in Powder Gray by Andrew Jenkins

Does what I expected.

I play a limited number of fields, all of which I know very well. All I really need is basic footage info when I'm playing. The S10 delivers exactly that. I also have a Bushnell laser range finder and I've compared the footage it gives me on the white (medium green) flags to what the S10 gives me in the center and found it a lot I agree. Your mileage may vary. One tip is to "start a lap" as soon as you arrive at the club to give your S10 time to find satellites and find a course. I found the navigation keys easy to learn and use; One feature I like is the ability to measure the distance of your shots (see user manual). The battery holds up well; I played a round two weekends in a row and didn't charge in between and ended up with a lot of charge left. The only downsides I see are: 1) If you're a stats geek, it doesn't track every aspect of your gameplay. You can count what's beautiful, but that's about it, and; 2) You must have a wired connection to your computer to download the results. You can view the information on Garmin Connect and add more information about shots and fairway shots (uses your score and number of shots to calculate GIR). I haven't found a way to edit other tracking data like hit accuracy or distance in the Garmin app. Conclusion: If you just want to quickly set the base material, this should work without any problems. If you need more sophisticated stats tracking, Bluetooth connectivity, etc., you can look for the updated model.
