Review on πŸš— Enhanced Air Suspension Kit - Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate 88299 by Darnell Golden

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I wish I had bought these years ago.

First off, let me say that with a 60-day no-questions-asked money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty, if you need airbags, air travel is a piece of cake. I wish I had installed them years ago when I first bought a four wheeler and rode it in the back of a truck. We bought a TT a bit too big for the Tundra @ 8k lbs. GVWR and I didn't want to worry about understeer or extreme squat. I'm moderately mechanically inclined and it took me exactly two hours to remove and reinstall the tires. I installed the valve under the gas cap on the recommendation of a friend. With some compressors, the angle required for filling was narrow. However, Revain sells the solution at a low price, so this is no longer an issue. I originally installed both valves, but have since ordered and installed a tee and now only use one valve. I recommend doing this in good time. Finding PSI values that match can be challenging. In terms of handling, I really like that the truck feels more solid with airbags. We run them at around 10psi daily and draw them in the 50-60psi range. When I was touring my trailer on my first trip from Ohio to Idaho (yes, we also drove through Iowa), it was very helpful to be able to adapt to changing road conditions. I don't know how you guys in the Midwest handle your roller coaster, but I digress. If you're towing and don't mind a harder ride, I highly recommend these, but put on a tee first.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Not everything fits
