Dangerously bumpy ride

The Loadlifter 5000 has "internal dampers" which by my measurements reduce travel by about 3 inches. As a result, every bump or dip in the road causes the ride to send a shockwave through the truck. It's as if the truck's suspension flexes with every bump - because that's exactly what it does. This applies with or without a payload, with or without a trailer. The only solution is to keep at least 30psi in the springs, which raises the back of the truck about a foot and makes the truck look like

  • Great value for money

If you're towing, you need it.

I've had this installed for about a year now and am using it with a Toyota Tundra and 30ft trailer. I wouldn't be happy if I didn't buy an onboard compressor. So this is a great product. I release the pressure when I lower the chassis and that reduces the pressure on the clutch. The compressor automatically maintains 7 pounds of pressure to prevent bags from collapsing. I have a 12 volt battery operated compressor, but I can't imagine having to add or remove air every time I plug or unplug it…

Great price. Pretty simple build. It took me a heck of a lot more than 1.5, but I'm no pro and don't have a trunk so I had to level my truck and lift one side at a time to get the wheel off. If you are a perfectionist and have the tools you need/prefer (saw, small electric or pneumatic ratchet, jack, jack) this can only take about 3 hours from start to finish. It took about 4 but I want to make sure I haven't overlooked anything and that everything is torqued and retorqued to spec, u-bolts are…

I wish I had bought these years ago.

First off, let me say that with a 60-day no-questions-asked money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty, if you need airbags, air travel is a piece of cake. I wish I had installed them years ago when I first bought a four wheeler and rode it in the back of a truck. We bought a TT a bit too big for the Tundra @ 8k lbs. GVWR and I didn't want to worry about understeer or extreme squat. I'm moderately mechanically inclined and it took me exactly two hours to remove and reinstall the tires. I…

2012 Tundra - Excellent

When I bought it in 2012 I started looking for airbags for my truck because any Toyota owner will tell you that maximum pull comes from horsepower, not power the suspension. However, when I first started looking for the Ultimate, having a jumping spring in the device was not an option, but for an extra dollar. So if it deflates and deflates to have as a failsafe it would be great. Installed in 2.5 hours. . (Took me longer than probably most because I covered all the shiny parts with a rust…

  • Almost OK

Cute bags so far! - Shocks, Struts and Suspension

After reading the reviews I honestly didn't know what to expect other than great towing. I've heard everything from "the truck drives like crap but it tows great" to "I don't even know they're there and it tows great". So I pulled the trigger and installed them on my 2013 Tundra. . Installation was pretty easy. The only thing that went wrong was that the kit included a top mount screw that was too big. Luckily I had a similar screw in my garage that worked great. Installation was pretty easy if
