You must pay attention. It does its job well, but when it comes to dimming, it's quite sufficient. It automatically performs low-power welding and high-side low-power without doing anything. It automatically adapts to your basic settings. This is not the lightest helmet. And he loves to tip over alone. I wouldn't call it difficult. It's just not super easy. Overall I think you can't beat it for the price. Or even 2-3 times more expensive. I personally don't like him. So I packed mine. YMMV.
