I use it between the wall and the rope for my cross braces and ONLY yesterday it saved my horse from possible injuries. He was standing on the sills when my saddle fell off the rack beside him. He got startled and jumped hard to one side and the cross tie on this device detached allowing him to go off the road without injury but the other side remained connected as he did not pull on that side. I also use them in my trailer while driving, but not in places where free braking would do more damage, such as when tying up outdoors. Highly recommended
