I received mine in August 2019. I've used them from time to time, but probably more than the average layperson. Mine ran out a few weeks ago. The first dozen cuts were like butter. The jaws twisted quickly after loosening the pivot bolt. I sharpened them and they worked fine again, but that pivot bolt kept loosening no matter how hard I tightened the lock nut. Eventually the lock nut broke. And the ergonomics let us down. The way the handles come so close causes them to grip the palm of the cutting hand fairly tightly if you don't hold it at the end of the handle, but the shape of the handles leaves the knives close to the pivot point in the hand sit. right where they pinch.
