I was skeptical about how easy it would be to pull the internal component through the tank using a wire. However, installation was a breeze. The wire used for the pull is stiff but bendable. The hole drilled into the tank was large enough to easily pull the inside part through, but small enough for a solid seal. There are two O-rings, one on the inside of the tank, and on on the outside, to seal the deal. There is a stainless flange that is shaped to fit over the outside O-ring that keeps the nut from flattening the O-ring by overtightening. The plastic that hold the cap in is high quality as well. All parts required, including the proper sized drill bit, are included. I did use a pair of needle nose pliers to help retrieve the wire back out from the front of the tank, although the wire is flexible enough that it could have been pulled out from the back. At $21, the 8-pack was a great purchase. Much better than the pressure fitted vent caps (which I have had pop out when pressure builds in the tank). No regrets.
