Review on 📚 MotorGuide Breaker - User Guide by Andy Tran

I ordered the MotorGuide brand and expected it to be just what I needed. It's not like this. As others have said, the terminal blocks are too close together to accommodate the available ring terminals for the 6 AWG wire specified by Motorguide (my MotorGuide, anyway). And these are overpriced. You can buy a brand name 50 amp, 12 volt switch at any auto store for $5-$6. It's the same physical size and looks very similar to this one, and for that price you can get an auto-reset device too. For about the same price as this, you can get the same circuit breaker paired with an insulating enclosure from Bass Pro. Most applications require an insulating jacket. Also note that 6 AWG ring terminals of any type are very difficult to find locally or online. If MotorGuide wanted to make a really useful kit, it would have included a pair of correctly sized ring terminals and an insulating boot. Meanwhile, save money and go to auto parts store.
