I pulled the fuel pump out of a 2000 Caddy Deville DHS. The tool was too big to use on a 4.6 liter V8 fuel pump which is a big car engine in a big full size car. I'm not an expert. But it looked too big for a car's fuel pump and probably too big for any SUV or small pickup truck. It is adjustable and for me it was as small as possible, but it was too big. The design looked good and the instrument was reasonably durable. I just don't think it will fit anything other than a GMC Lark or an Isuzu truck. As a result, with the help of a hammer and a flat screwdriver, I removed the fuel pump. I had the results I expected - now I need a brand new fuel tank. So it wasn't worth buying and I ended up paying another $600 to replace a used fuel tank and do the labor. In general, the day is unsuccessful and unsuccessful. I think the post needs better guidance on sizing and what it fits.
