How does this not leak?
A 1/2" NPSM fitting on the faucet side of the nipple is normal, however; there is nothing in the faucet to seal the water from leaking. Thread tape is not enough to create a seal, there is no O-ring inside the fixture where the nipple threads into. Very odd and we will likely have to return the faucet. I'm really interested how other people have installed this with a good seal.
