It’s cushy inside and feels like it protects my laptop well. I love the pockets and add on bag. I put the charger in there. It says "leather,” but it doesn’t feel like it. I didn’t really care since it does what I need and the color, style and ease of carrying it work well. If the leather part matters to you, I could be wrong. I didn’t do anything extensive to check. My opinion is based on my leather bags. I didn’t give 5 for water-resistance because (luckily) I haven’t had to test out. I’d recommend this as it’s stylish, works well and came in fast.
