Review on 4K/HD/HDR Roku Ultra Streaming Media Player with Premium JBL Headphones and Ghost Manta 4K HDMI Cable by David Jones

I really like Roku's line of devices, from streaming USB sticks to the Roku TCL TV. I recently replaced a 4K streaming stick with a Roku Ultra, and the speed boost I got from a better processor made a huge difference in boot time for both the device and the services launched from the app, especially my Spectrum service. That's positive. The downside is that the Roku remote that comes with the Ultra completely drains two AAA batteries in less than a month. We had to buy a replacement SofaBaton R2 universal remote for the Roku streaming player instead, which uses two AAA batteries and requires IR "learning" to adjust volume and mute if you have a soundbar. Also, the Ultra Remote is a lot heavier than other Roku remotes because it has a built-in headset plug-in for private listening that seems to drain the batteries faster, even if you've never used this remote control feature. Overall the Roku Ultra streaming box is excellent, it's just a remote control that lacks proper quality control for consumer use.
