The Exarc torque wrench was ordered for use with my mountain bike and other smaller equipment that requires the use of a torque wrench. This Chrome Vanadium Alloy Steel Torque Wrench is just what I was looking for for my mountain bike maintenance. I like the feel and balance of the button. The grip is a non-slip grip and in testing I found it comfortable. In the past my bikes were serviced with smaller open end wrenches. This torque wrench makes my bike maintenance a lot easier and ensures that various parts of the bike are tightened accurately. I found this tool easy to use when setting the values I need. I typically lowered the lock knob on the wrench until I found the right setting. I then released my hand from the lock handle and let it return to the locked value. During use, there is a "click" sound when you reach the torque value where I stopped applying force to the wrench. I have a problem with the kit. The torque wrench case comes with 2 locks. When the set arrived I opened the package and the case was opened. When I tried to latch it, the case wouldn't close at all. It's a fact, he resisted the closure. I have several smaller plastic cases in which I have transferred the tools and various attachments. CONCLUSION: This is a nice and accurate 1/4" smaller torque wrench for use on my mountain bike. A good buy for the price and I would order this unit again. Just be aware that the case may not work properly once you receive it .
