I think the old adage "you get what you pay for" more or less applies here. The problem is that sometimes it's difficult to determine the right price for something. I was looking at a double priced set with similar complaints about it so I guess it's a better deal somehow. So these screwdrivers will basically get the job done if you don't abuse them. You won't take pride in using a quality tool because you don't. As mentioned by others, the "finished" tips are just poorly applied paint, and the grip fit and finish and ergonomics are below par. I only bought this as a stuffing for screwdrivers which I may not have. I hope it serves me well enough for this purpose. But honestly, if you live in the US, you'd be better off buying a similar set from Harbor Freight for the same price.
