Well done, but I wont buy any more.

evaluations of acoustic comfort seduced me. Although I would prefer Michelin, the costs for my size 235/65 R17 are outrageous. Yes, Michelin's quality is deteriorating as well; with insufficient use, they started to fall apart and hummed. There have been 2 weeks. He covered 3000 kilometers in this time, including a trip to the Crimea and back. I had a strong resonant noise both there and on my first day back, especially when accelerating. At 120, it finally stopped. The noise started to quiet down in the evening, perhaps as a result of the break-in or a drop in temperature. The noise has returned to normal now.

Pros
  • 1. Softly, with a thud, swallows bumps. 2. Deep puddles sneak through while the new ones are OK. 3. Directional stability and decent handling for everyone.
Cons
  • 1. NOISE. The hum actually starts at 40 and increases to 80. At speeds up to 140 mph on the earlier Michelin Latitude Tour Ash Pi, noise was essentially nonexistent, while a hum could be heard on worn tires. 2. Once more, acceleration and deceleration characteristics are substantially worse than with Michelin. If the car fired at Michelin and came to a complete stop, it became more reflective at Conti. 3. The workmanship is subpar; 90g were hung on one side of the tire fitting for balancing. It was even less earlier, Kama, as I recall. Perhaps due to "Made in Portugal"?
