I like the look and size of this hub. This works well if you only connect flash drives. However, having seven ports doesn't help if you can't use many or none of them, depending on what you want to connect. I had an external hard drive and flash drive connected. The external drive kept losing power and therefore turned off, but then turned on again. Unfortunately I missed the release window so I'm staying with it and honestly it doesn't seem any better than a no power hub. I think I need to do more research to make sure I get a stronger one. I am very disappointed with this and would not recommend it to anyone looking to connect external hard drives.
