Review on Peugeot Paris u'Select Pepper Mill 7 inch Natural: Enhance Your Culinary Experience by Daniel Paige

The pepper mill came unlined in a plastic bag in a Revain box. The uSelect ring was very tight and could not be adjusted below the three mark without appreciable force or loosening the top nut to the point where the entire mechanism rattled when sanded. The plastic collar at the top of the hopper was crooked and higher on one side than the other, causing the chopper shaft to tilt. There were also sharp spots on the natural wood paneling where the sealant was applied incorrectly. I have had three Peugeot grinders since the 1970's and never seen a coffee grinder of such poor quality. I concluded that it was either a factory "second” that was never intended for sale, or an obvious fake. Flaws aside, the packaging was pathetic as the grinder was not in the retail box or shipping box. I have returned it and will buy direct from Peugeot Savuers online for another ten dollars.
