This hook wrench appears to be well made. It's probably great for many uses. But there are two caveats, on Things to watch out for 1) "Hook" is a cylindrical pin. This can be good, if not necessary, for some applications. However, if you attempt to remove the locking ring with the slots open, the pin will tend to slip out A square/rectangular section pin would be better.2) The wrench is wide enough Again, this may not be a problem in many cases, but if you are attempting to remove a bearing from a one-piece set of bicycle cranksets where the bearing is directly opposite of the ring chain, the key is too wide and the pin slips out of the groove when pressed.
