Has a round tooth in mechanical and hand tools

Wasn't entirely happy with this wrench, the tooth that grips the nut is round. In order for the wrench to grip and hold, I had to grind a flat surface in it. Although the delivery time was great and I got it working

Exactly what hand tools I need

Bought to use as a gunsmith wrench on my AR15 castellated nut, it costs about $35 and all it took was tightening the castellated nut and for $13 it works great. 3/4-2" (19-51mm) if you want to use it on a castle nut as it is 4mm to fit in the slot.

    • Great for me

Worked on Street Rod rear suspension preload

I have 3/4-2. It worked great for preload adjustment on my 2019 Harley-Davidson Street Rod (xg750a). There is nothing more to say, I coped with the task for which I needed it without any problems. Didn't have to use a pipe extension or anything like some people say.

Robust construction. Allowed me to remove a stuck special nut.

I used this wrench to remove a special nut that is used on a surface grinder spindle. The nut was over tightened and I had to tap the wrench with a hammer, but he removed the nut and the wrench was not damaged. Better than I expected for the price.

Great product for a wide range.

This is a great product. The quality is very good and the range of dampers that you can adjust with this product is quite wide. Very handy for your tool box and I highly recommend this product for adjusting the preload of your shock absorbers on your quad/motorcycle. Much better than the non-adjustable wrenches you might use on shocks, and a longer, more comfortable grip.

    • Absolutely amazing!

    • Hard to say

Perfect fit for my vintage Atlas drill's chuck

My old Atlas drill comes with a Jacobs JT33 taper with an extra nut to maintain the taper in situations where force is coming from the side is exerted of the feed. The 4mm pin fits perfectly. A light tap on this key with a soft hammer broke off the threaded ring. I'll probably never need this again, but it's nice to know I can when I need it.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Some difficulties

    Not big enough for wrenches

It was too small for the job I needed which was my fault for ordering the wrong size. I tried returning it for a larger size and they just refunded my money so I could order a larger wrench. However, that didn't work either, but I have a separate review with a picture for that. They are not designed to adjust shocks, which may take some effort to adjust. They tend to lean too far back without resistance.

    Pros
    • Pretty packaging
    Cons
    • So-so

    Good but with some caveats

Hook wrench appears to be well made. This is probably great for many applications. However, there are two limitations that you should be aware of. 1) "Hook" is a cylindrical pin. This can be good, even necessary, for some applications. However, if you try to remove the locking ring with the slots open, the pin will tend to slip out. A square/rectangular pin would be better. 2) The key is quite wide. Again, this may not be a problem in many applications. However, if you try to remove a bearing…

    Much stronger than I expected

I can't believe how strong the pin on this wrench is. I had a couple of wrenches stuck on my Jeep that wouldn't budge. I used this wrench with a hammer and the hits were repeated over and over with such force that I probably had to bend or break this wrench. Instead, it took abuse, and eventually, after many hits, the nut came loose. I could then use it the way it was meant to be used. I've had many brand name box wrenches that have withstood much less handling. I will buy more sizes in the…

Good enough, best for hand tools

Useful as a castle nut wrench for AR. I would have preferred the Magpul Armorers key but for the price it worked. Just make sure you keep it in the groove with your hand or it will slip off and ruin your finish. Update: Doesn't fit all AR castle nuts, for my purposes I spliced them with a star (3 to 2). Completely unsuitable for SB Tactical PDW. Hardly works like an adjustable wrench on anything other than steel. The tab that must make contact with the castle nut slots is cast and not machined…
