Review on Aprilaire 35 Replacement Humidifier Models Appliances by Jeff Wieczorek

The fit is excellent compared to the one I want to replace but the material is very different. The old gasket is white with a soft paper/cloth like surface that will retain water. This replacement is a dingy hard metal surface with chalk paint on it, the water runs right through/flows out and eventually flows out of the bottom. When my stove flap is wide open and the water pressure is greatly reduced, water still flows down the drain and it struggles to reach the humidity level where it's set. I will most likely clean the old one and check between the two but for now I think I should have gone with Aprilaire 45 pads instead.
