I used it to replace a steel main fuel line on a 2000 gmc Sierra 1500 extended cab with an 8ft box . I ended up running this nylon thread from the engine to the tank. The kit included all the components needed to connect to the engine, fuel pump and fuel filter. The male connections that go into the fuel filter are M16x1.5 threads, which is standard on fuel filters intended for use. with 3/8" steel lines. Professional grade plastic fittings (called Bundy fittings if interested) connect to the fittings on the engine and fuel pump. I used a hair dryer to soften the nylon tubing before pressing any of the steel or plastic notches into it It helped a lot.I also used a hair dryer to soften the nylon to straighten the pipe and also where it needs to be hard bent or the other way Overall I was very happy with the product and I am glad I spent the money on it and not on hard lines
