Great upgrade from cheap factory pedals. I've only been on one ride with these, about 14 miles on road/gravel/CC trail. I can't speak much to the durability as I don't have many miles, but the stock pedals were galling against the crank arms (tearing into the metal). The old pedals clicked at the bottom of the pedal stroke, but with the Fookers - it's dead quiet.I would not say these pedals are super lightweight, they're made of a dense polymer and feel like they could take a beating. Aluminum, titanium or carbon pedals would be lighter. The two largest improvements over stock pedals are overall platform area and grip.In the pictures you can see how they are wider and longer than the originals. I wear size 13 shoes and my feet tended to roll over the outer edge - and sometimes completely off - of the stock pedals. I would also notice soreness/cramping in the arches of my feet after really grinding up hills, especially out of the saddle. As for grip, with the original pedals I had to concentrate on not letting my feet slip. I could move and pivot my feet from side to side, or even slip forwards or backwards. I had slipped off the pedals (usually just one) a number of times. With the Fookers, my feet stayed 100% in the same position once I placed them on the pedals. Of course your feet come right off if you deliberately lift them just a little. With better grip and a wider/more stable platform I believe I am able to get more power into my stroke. On the first ride I was able to set 3 PRs on a route I've ridden a dozen times, despite the heat index being 110°! Small gains, but it still made a difference.Having sure footing is a huge bonus. These are too inexpensive not to buy if you're looking for decent flat pedals. I hope they hold up over time, but as of now I see no reason to doubt them.P.S. - I'm glad I went with the yellow, it matches the accents (logos) on my bike perfectly.P.P.S. - And don't snigger at the name, by order of the Peaky Fookin' Blinders!
