I purchased this to replace an OEM lift on my recently purchased 2011 Silverado 1500 that has spent most of its life on dirt roads in North Dakota. It was very difficult to turn to the point where I was concerned I would break the jack handle tube. This block was an easy replacement and was much easier to crank. I would suggest that before you loosen any bolt holding the lift in place, you lube it with a hell of a liquid wrench. There have been comments that the carrier mount that fits into the rims is too small for some of the center holes. I measured three different Tahoe/Silverado OEM rims and found that the center hole is 3" and the beam is 5 1/4", so there is a lot of overlap. People who have 2500 size cars might have a problem.
