Review on Kirschen 4017000 Inshave Wooden Handles by Carlos Reyes

I have a number of Two Cherries tools and I am satisfied with both the build quality and the performance. Unfortunately, this straight razor is very poorly made and the edge is not worth sharpening. When received the grips had superficial tears and were badly misaligned (maybe it didn't help that they came in a plastic bag). Useless even before blade issues are considered. The blade curvature was asymmetrical from side to side and uneven in depth along its length. The flat section showed clear signs of edge burn. The edge would require a lot of work to even prepare it for sharpening. All in all, a big oversight from a company that normally makes good tools.
