Type of review

I ordered this product awhile back, but hadn't realized my refund was never issued. While the product itself seemed to be of good quality, much of it had spilled in shipment. I used a bit of what was left in the bag, but was nervous to use the loose wax due to my recipes being extremely sensitive to potential dust or debris that may have made its way into the loose pellots. Had it clumped together in a sealed box, this wouldn't have been a concern, but this is Arizona! The box was in perfect…

Pros
  • The clean-burning properties of beeswax make it ideal for use in aromatherapy candles and diffusers
Cons
  • Requires a higher melting point than some other materials

Great product, small problem with the packaging

I'm very happy with the product but the bag did arrive with a hole in the bottom of the bag so there was a bit of a mess to clean up when the box was opened.

Pros
  • These pellets are ethically sourced from beekeepers who prioritize sustainability and humane practices
Cons
  • Potential for allergic reactions for those with bee or honey allergies

Nice and clean for my opinion

Nice clean beeswax, contrary to other reviews I didn't find the smell very strong. It has a bit of a smell when you melt it but that is to be expected, and it did not leave a residual smell in any of the products I made with it.Update: ordered it again 18 months later and it is still the same great quality.

Pros
  • Candle Making
Cons
  • Not ideal for use in all types of candle wicks

Pretty dang nice. :3

The moment I received my package, I tore it open and started making some lip balm. The contents of the bag DID smell off, but - once I measured the wax out with my other ingredients - the stench seemed to disappear. It also melted nicely. (I'll update this with more information once my stuff is done cooling)Update: Okay, I'm sold. I got my finished lip gloss containers out of the fridge, and found that everything solidified quickly/cleanly and DIDN'T have any bad odors.

Pros
  • I purchased to make homemade hand balm. Easy to work with and end result as expected.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other candle-making materials

Exactly what I ordered

I literally looked at these for hours trying to decide which beeswax was the best. It seems that all of them have problems with the scent by some people. I decided to order this one. When I opened the bag, it did have a bit of a scent, but I think that it is just the wax itself. I did not think it was offensive as some say. I made a cutting board mix with this, and it worked great. I will be a repeat customer.

Pros
  • The pellets are affordable, making it easy to stock up and experiment with various projects
Cons
  • Requires more precise temperature control for optimal results

Melts great and contributed to making excellent lip balm

These pure white beeswax pellets are very easy to use for making homemade lip balm. They melted very well and quickly. Their texture is so soft and smooth and the lip balm turned out perfect. There is plenty that comes in this one pound bag and the cost makes it a great value. I would definitely order this one again when I need to get more. The scent is a light one and not overwhelming, and definitely reminds me of the days when I was younger and my dad had honey bees. We used to chew on the…

Pros
  • Add lard or high smoke point oil for crisbee stick style seasoning for metal pans.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to find a reliable supplier

The beeswax worked perfectly

The beeswax worked very well. I bought some herbal salve that was too liquid and needed to get it to be a salve. I melted the too liquid salve and added beeswax to it. I stirred it well in the melted state and when it cooled it was a salve as it should be.

Pros
  • Beeswax is a natural antibacterial agent, making it an ideal ingredient in deodorants and balms
Cons
  • May not have as strong of a scent throw as other materials

Just what I was looking for for DIY candles and salves

Great white color (good for adding your own dyes), minimal scent, and the pellets melt quickly. The sturdy re-usable pouch is great for storage and one-handed pouring into your heating vessel. Also a great deal (I spent 50% more on beeswax from my local natural food store when I couldn't wait for an online delivery).

Pros
  • Aromatherapy
Cons
  • May require additional safety precautions when working with hot wax

Wonderful product for my opinion

I'm new to the DIY world & wanted this product for lip balms & lotions--sticks, bars, jars, & tarts. Read reviews on approx 20 different bees waxes & decided on this one. This is the 1st wax I've ever purchased & I couldn't be happier! It arrived promptly, was packaged securely, & smelled like.well, what I figured bees wax would smell like. I'm almost out already & will buy 2# next time. I love the products it helps me create & so does everyone I've given them to. Save time--don't read about…

Great beeswax, Great value

I am using this beeswax in my homemade body butter. It's amazing! It is absolutely clean and absolutely white. The pellets are uniform in size, so they melt evenly, which is very important when you are trying not to overheat your oils. I will definitely buy from this vendor again.

Pros
  • BEESWORKS
Cons
  • Limited availability in physical stores

Melts nicely in my review

I noticed that this wax has a bit of a smell when you open the bags. However, it does not stay after it is melted. It melts nicely and very easily whether on the stove in a double boiler or in the microwave.

Pros
  • These pellets are free of harmful additives and chemicals, ensuring a safe and pure product
Cons
  • Potential for spills and accidents during the melting process

Didn't work for preserving leaves

I thought I could dip autumn leaves in melted wax to preserve their colors, but it didn't really work that well. It does seem like good quality, so I might use it for candle making or some other craft instead.

Pros
  • The natural properties of beeswax help create a calming and relaxing atmosphere
Cons
  • Can be more fragile and prone to breaking compared to synthetic options

I purchased these Pure White Beeswax Pellets from Your Natural Planet some months ago when purchasing ingredients for a natural DIY sunscreen. The sunscreen product results are exceptionally good. I will continue to use this Beeswax for other DIY products, and am so glad that I got such a great buy when I purchased this via Walmart.

Pros
  • Good for lip balm
Cons
  • Can cause lung irritation if inhaled in large amounts

BeesWax is NOT unscented

Opened the bag and immediately noticed this BeesWax is NOT unscented. The wax worked fine, but the smell was overwhelming. I added extra essential oil to mask the smell and my wax tarts had zero scent whatsoever. Good thing I only bought the small bag. will only buy my regular brand of white beeswax pellets from now on 😕

Pros
  • It’s exactly what i wanted. Tiny pellets melt really easily and the smell is soft.
Cons
  • Requires careful monitoring when melting to avoid burning
