Ideal for many applications!

I've worn a lot by car. I should probably just buy a truck, but a station wagon with a huge roof basket made sense. I always seem to have trouble with straps that have ratchets in awkward places where they scratch paint or plastic. They have nice padding under the buckle that protects the items I carry around. Haven't used them for long trips yet, just around town, but they held up and worked well for me.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Dubious purchase for seniors

Lightweight and Compact - Tie Downs

These are lightweight and compact tie downs. Being only 2.5 cm thick, they can easily be stowed anywhere in your vehicle. Although the tape is thin, it makes the weave strong and able to withstand light to moderate loads. There is a piece of felt/polyester under the buckle to prevent the buckle from scratching the car. The buckle is metal so I'm concerned about rusting (but I live in a place where it rains about 3 times a year so I can't verify). Overall, it is durable and suitable for light to

Great straps for a great price.

These belts have stood the test of time. A small foam pad prevents them from scratching anything under the buckle. My old straps were too soft, difficult to get through the buckle and tended to twist when pulled. There are no problems with this. They're stiff enough to thread through easily and stay flat when you pull them through. Even has a little velcro to secure them after swaddling. Definitely recommend. Change: January 2020. Three years later they are still using the same belts and they…

Not durable as advertised, poor quality

Poor quality components. The buckles are thin metal and the rivets are small and loose. The ribbon is not tightly woven. I bought these to attach items to my roof rack for country/off-road travel. I wouldn't trust them unless I secured the line with an extra knot, defeating the purpose of using a cam buckle for easier securing. The photo on the left shows a high-quality clamp buckle with thicker metal and rivets compared to the Boncas. The only nice feature is the built in velcro for storage…

Not bad for the money

Just pack it on my new kayak trailer. I am of course in a hurry with my very early review. But I have high hopes for these belts. I wish they were softer than cotton ribbons but other than that I'm sure they will do the job. I use 6 to attach 2 kayaks to a trailer. However, I put them to the test before putting my trailer on the road. And I didn't notice much loosening after making the donuts in my yard lol I didn't want them to be stuck on the trailer and damaging my kayaks. The only downside…

Nice straps for the price!

We bought these straps not only to use as kayak straps but also to tie down a small two man boat. These straps seem to work great as we speed back and forth to our local lakes. I love the skid plate that protects your car from scratches and scrapes and the materials used feel high quality and well put together despite being quite light. I'm hesitant to use them on long trips simply because I don't want things flying off our SUV while we're driving, but I'll give it a try and update my review…

Pros
  • Properly sized and thick foam padded tie down straps specially designed to protect your vehicle and cargo. Convenient storage with a fastening cable keeps the cam straps well organized and tidy.
Cons
  • Not sure

This works pretty well.

I'm actually very happy with these ties. Has a beautiful black color. It was a little thin so I was afraid of putting on too much when using these ties. I tried to hold a few items while moving. The problem I had was that thinner zip ties make it difficult to really secure large objects, so be aware. I've found this works best for items like bikes and boats. When holding certain items, be aware that friction can cause the items to become scratched. It is quite easy to tie and loop. The fact…
