🔧 2007-2008 Acura TL Base Type-S Air Intake Hose (17228-RDA-A00) - Enhanced SEO Review

Air intake hose fits my base 2007 Acura TL engine perfectly. It was easy to install after removing the old one. I used existing clamps and a spring. Looks well done.

Perfect fit for my 2008 Acura TL 3.2L. I just removed the spring from the old inlet hose and put it on the new one. work 10 minutes. Replaced an old cracked inlet hose. Just as good as the original part.

Part fits well compared to OEM. I can say that this aftermarket part fits better. It doesn't bind or weigh down like the OEM. I can get an OEM part for $20 (online from an authorized Acura dealer, not local, which costs $50) versus $17. All in all, this is a great piece.

Factory pipe cracked and removed from engine due to heat and age. This hose only took a few minutes to install, keeping the connectors in the old hose. There are no new ones in the kit which is a shame but it all worked out in the end!

This product has met all my expectations. I needed a quick solution at a good price. This product is not OEM quality but the fit and flexibility was good. Tight on smaller fittings but it should be. The material doesn't feel as thick as OEM, but the price is right.

Great product, just don't forget to pre-drill the cold air intake valve. I didn't see it anywhere and couldn't do it when I first tried to install it. There was a whistling sound, and after much disappointment, I finally realized my mistake. The item is not in the original quality, but for the price you can't imagine anything better.

I had to replace the inlet hose as I recently had the infamous cracking problem. The item was shipped very quickly and got to me in less than a week. Compared to the old intake hose (which I bought from an Acura dealer), the OEM intake hose was a much thicker rubber material than its cheaper counterpart. But I'm not saying it's badly done. All lines and ports simply entered. Would still recommend it to other people if they carefully remove the air filter.
