A great tool for what it was designed for!

Well, sometimes you just need a tool and you look and you're a little unsure if it will work as well as it looks. This tool WORKS and works well, it's machined to even hold the screw; t/nut to fit in place and strong enough to use my 1/2 inch socket for a tightening which I liked

Pros
  • Triple Square Drive
Cons
  • Some Cons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Ideal for hand tools

Just right for tightening 1/2" lag bolts in a rack. The required 3/4" socket wrench will not fit a standard rack to tighten the nut, but this tool will do. Heavy duty construction for heavy commercial/industrial use on a federal dam project. They are well made and I will be buying more for future projects.

Pros
  • Tools and housewares
Cons
  • Good, but not great

The boys at work are so jealous of me

I'm an industrial electrician trainee, which, bizarrely enough, can be called a Unistrut farmer. All the guys I've worked with have a longer version, which is good, but sometimes you run into trouble. 3 days after I got this tool, 3 or 4 different people asked me if they could borrow it :p If you build with Unistrut and 1/2" hardware, you won't regret buying it!

Pros
  • Single sockets
Cons
  • Nothing

Works great - hand tool

Just right for tightening 1/2" lag screws in the stud. The required 3/4" socket will not fit in a standard rack to tighten the nut, but this tool will. Rugged construction for rigorous commercial/industrial use on a federal dam project. They are well made and I will be buying more for future projects.

Pros
  • Compatible with all 1-5/8" channel and studs
Cons
  • write later

This is a MUST for electricians!

A trainee at work was showing me his outlet when I was having trouble installing a spacer at work, so I ordered it the same day after work. save up! Yes it is very expensive but there is no better way to install a spacer without wasting the hassle and time using another method. refute me!

Pros
  • Overall length 2-1/2 in.
Cons
  • I'll add later

The boys at work are so jealous of me

I'm an Industrial Electrical Apprentice, what you might call a fancy Unstrut builder. All the folks, the ones i've worked with are the longer version which is good but sometimes you get into a tricky spot 3 days after i got this tool 3 or 4 different people asked if they could borrow it: pIf you build with 1/2" Unistrut and fittings, you won't regret your purchase!

Pros
  • For use with all 1-5/8" ducts and spacers
Cons
  • Not a machine
