Identical to the worn ones I was replacing.

I easily installed them on my bike today (9/25/2020) and then did a 20-mile ride. They were identical to the ones that came on the bike and performed great. I can't vouch for their longevity; time will tell. So far, though, I good product at a great price. The seller went the extra mile to contact me to make sure I was happy with them.

Pros
  • Sports
Cons
  • Develops cracks easily

My bike stops now! in my review

I picked up a used bike last year, and I didn't realize how bad the brakes were. I went to adjust them to start this year's riding season but the pads were written way down. I put these on and now my bike stops so fast I've had to adjust the cable tension to ease it up a little!

Pros
  • Cheap, and convenient to install, and works very well.
Cons
  • Sluggish brake response

Nice Brakes for my opinion

The squeal of the original brake pads was driving me over the edge. These new pads are working great. They are larger than the stock ones that came on the bike, but pose no problem during installation. Best news is that the squealing brakes are gone, and the new ones stop great, with no squeal. Happy days.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Poor quality

Work great best in my review

I had some brake pads on my bike that must’ve dried out and were making a lot of noise, these pads were nice and soft got rid of the noise. They are much softer and have great bite, really improved stopping performance. I used these on a 7 speed hybrid bike.

Pros
  • quick shipping,good deal
Cons
  • Inconvenient installation process

Works great on my Trek MTB

I have a Trek 200 Navigator, and was able to replace the rear brakes in about 10 minutes. I didn't remove the wheel. I also used the original spacers instead of the included ones, but they seemed nice enough.I've had them on for several days, and used them on both dirt and paved surfaces. Today I even tried them out in the rain. I have had zero issues. They stop well and are quieter than the OEM brakes. I can't speak to longevity, but that's not a huge concern as they're priced right. I think…

Pros
  • They work fine but i wish the studs were a bit longer, only got a couple turns on my set up.
Cons
  • Unreliable braking

Good value on my review.

I’m a recreational biker (i.e., not "serious”), and these replacement brake pads suit my needs. One caveat: on my front brakes, I had to install the pads "backwards” (left pad to right fork, right pad to left fork) to get them correctly pointed toward the front of the bike. Otherwise they were pretty easy to install, and they seem to work well.

Pros
  • Quick delivery , easy to install , work like a charm . Will order them again when these wear out .
Cons
  • Difficult to adjust the distance between pads and rims

Good pads but didn't stop brake squeal

Brake pads seem made well enough, and are a little longer which I imagine gives better braking. They did not stop my brake squeal though. To those looking for a solution, what finally did it for me was to spray the rim down with some degreaser, and then wipe them clean. Squeal finally stopped. Rim squeal can be caused by multiple things, and hard/glazed brake pads can be one of them. But after washing with soap and water, adjusting the "toe in" on the pads, and replacing the pads, with no luck,

Pros
  • Enhanced Stopping Power
Cons
  • Expensive for the quality

Slows me down in a hurry, what more could you want?

I've used these brake pads now on a few rides and they seem to have very good braking power, good value for the money. I've used them in dry, wet, and muddy- no issues in all conditions. Nice and quiet. I'll update my review if they wear really quickly as I go along or get noisy but so far so good!A tip I found useful if needed- Use a business card at the back of the pad when installing to toe the front in just slightly so they are quiet.

Pros
  • Good Value. Included brake pads and variety of washers for fairly easy installation. Recommended
Cons
  • Unbearable screeching noise

easy as pie best in my review

these fit my old walmart bike perfectly, give more stopping power, easy to install and bigger than the original brakes.

Pros
  • They worked just fine
Cons
  • Causes vibration during slowing down

Standard replacement pads for V brakes on MTBs

Got these for my kid's 20" mountain bike. They look and install exactly like the one's I was replacing. Good design using textured parts for the cup and cone washer pair which allows you to position the pads to install properly. Make sure you watch a video about toe-in, install the pads the right way (they are directional and labelled left and right with a front-pointing arrow). Scuff contact surfaces with coarse (100-150 grit) sandpaper to remove shiny surface before installing. You need…

Pros
  • Standard V-brake pads. I can't comment on longevity yet, but they appear to be of good quality.
Cons
  • Color fades with exposure to UV rays

Cheap, did not last long with only mild use

One of the brakes have completely worn down in less than year of once a week riding. Very poor durability and would recommend spending more or relying on a trusted source instead of "random amazon quality control" for something as important as brakes.

Pros
  • Better braking with the longer pad
Cons
  • Creates unnecessary drag

Easy, quick upgrade for a small BMX job

Added these to my grandson's "free" BMX bike he salvaged from a trash pile. Nice bike but wouldn't stop. Fixed it all up and added these brake pads. Easy to install and more surface area than the old pads. Bike stops now and will get better as the pads get bedded in. Good value in my opinion, and the kid thinks they look cool!

Pros
  • Nice thick brakes
Cons
  • Easily worn down

They work! for my opinion

The bike does stop and my husband hasn’t been killed or injured (Yet) so that means the installation was indeed easy and I did it correctly. It’s a little early to accurately rate longevity, but he does wear a helmet just in case. So far so good!

Pros
  • Easy Installation
Cons
  • Unwieldy design
