Perfect mix of firmness and squishiness. However, it does not stay put on wood floors, it slips around. Still trying to figure out how I can get it to stay put after a few weeks.

The mat was the color and look that I wanted. The only issue was that it has a slippery coating that makes sock feet VERY slippery after standing on the mat. I did not fall but but had to be careful. I cleaned the mat with a cleaner and that helped a little. I think it will be fine after some use but be very careful at first. If you are on carpet you might not notice but on hardwood or tile this mat makes your feet slippery when first used.

I like the color and the size fits my kitchen space. My only concerns are the changes in the construction materials from the last time I purchased this style of mat from the same company. Even after the other reviews that I read saying that it was very slippery, I still ordered this mat mainly because of the size. I was having a hard time trying them out that was long enough and wide enough for the space I was looking for. Trust me do not order this. Not only is the mat itself slippery whatever residue is on there was being tracked onto my hardwood floors and people were slipping on the floors. Love this rug! Better quality than the previous type I owned. I feel like a kneading cat every time I do dishes, and my kids like jumping on it. It's soft and almost bouncy in a luxurious way. You won't be disapponted!

I love this mat. It arrived on time and I was so happy with the color. It was exactly as I imagined it to be. The design on the edge was something that was a little iffy for me, but it is not all that visible. It was packaged well, no crease or fold in it after laying it down on the floor. It feel so good under my feet when I am standing at the sink. It does reach over to my stove area too and that is a plus. I would buy it again if needed.

My old mat was looking a bit tired….just wanted something new, but a bit thicker than the old one. This is perfect! May not last long if not cared for properly.

I liked the rim of the mat staying down flush so I don't catch my foot on it and trip as I had done with the one I had to return. That's my review!

Please read other reviews before buying. Mat seems to be covered with dark? oily substance which transferred to my hardwood floors within just a few minutes after using. First noticed squeaking when walking on floor. Hoping it was something simple I kept washing floors but by next day everyone was slipping. Made helper wear tennis shoes when in kitchen but this morning cat ran into kitchen and both her back feet slipped out from under her. Can't take a chance .someone is going to fall .

The mat was nice looking and comfortable.The problem with the mat that we received was it had a slippery coating, on the top and the bottom. When you step on it, your feet slip around on it, both in socks and bare feet. When you step off the mat into a hard floor, your feet slip even more. Very cushiony and helps with my fatigued legs when standing at the sink. However, I have to be careful when stepping on/off of it because it isn’t slip resistant on my ceramic floors.

The top was slippery-like which I transferred from my feet to other areas in the house so to remove whatever it is the factory put on it to preserve it until I got it in the house, I mopped the mat and no more slipsies, plus mopped the area where I transferred the slipsies which got rid of that problem.
