Great quality food good for me

I have been feeding this food to my dogs over a month now. My cocker was always hungry with other brands. Finally I can feed him less food so he can lose the few pounds he is overweight. My other two dogs love this food too.

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • May not be suitable for dogs undergoing weight loss programs

Happy Dogs in my review

I bought this for my one year old Cocker. However all the dogs love it. All their coats look better, they all shed less, eat less, use the bathroom less, my Cocker used to have this one chronic ear since the time I have had her as a puppy that it just gave her problems. It seems to have cleared up, no more smell. Her eyes give her less problems. And my 7yr old Yorkie he eats less, he used to throw up all the time had the most sensitive tummy. Our black lab mix, hot spots and she would just lick

GOOD FOOD! for my opinion

Seems to be helping skin issues

I've tried lots of things to help with my Cavilier King Charles Spaniel's skin issues. . . This food in combination with his shampoo, conditioner and treats seem to be the most successful thing I've found.

Pros
  • My cavalier LOVES this dog food.
Cons
  • May not be as effective for joint health as advertised

My dog loves this food!

Our Spaniel has tried several foods in her 6 years, and this is the only one she will eat by itself without any "people food" being added (of course, we still treat her occasionally). When we went in for our 12 month tooth-cleaning appointment, the vet told us to take her home as her teeth didn't need any cleaning for another 6 months, at least. It is specially designed for their teeth and health needs, and she loves it. And it is actually cheaper here than at the fancy pet store! What more…

Pros
  • The price is low,It can be received early.
Cons
  • May not provide enough protein for muscle growth

Been testing different Foods lately.

My dogs don't tend to eat dry food. Very spoil they like human food, I know my fault. They actually like this one compare to almost everything I have tried, and I have tried almost all the brands out there (The best once) It is expensive much more than other royal canine not sure why but for the babies only the best and it's whatever they like.In the pictures: Royal VS Wellness VS Orijen 5 Fish somethingYou can see what they ate and what they didn'tWill keep testing and will update.

Pros
  • My Lola loves this food.
Cons
  • Bag may be difficult to reseal

My Cocker loves this and it's the only dog food .

My Cocker loves this and it's the only dog food he will eat. It's very healthy for him. He's eaten it for 10 years. He started when he was just 2 months old with the type for pups switching to regular food. At first I mixed it half & half with what he was first given and he picked every single piece of the other out of his bowl and would not eat it, only ate the Royal canin

Pros
  • Our King Charles Cockers cost is bright and alive
Cons
  • May not be as effective for maintaining healthy skin and coat as advertised

Mr. Max sez Four Paws Up!

The Royal Canin Medium Cocker food was exactly what our Boykin Spaniel needed. He has a wheat allergy and absolutely loves this!

Pros
  • My dog is healthy and always on time to eat,she loved.
Cons
  • My two Cocker's would not eat it, but they are a bit picky.

When our Cocker was a puppy, I read horror stories on line, about Walmart and other discount houses and the harmful junk they put in dog food.Royal Canin is top rated, and we did not want any health issues because vets are expensive. At first we tried several recommended by vet, that she would not touch. When we gave her Royal Canin she loved it, and still does. Her weigh has remained around 26 lbs., at a 3/4 cup twice a day and a very healthy dog. I think she likes it because it looks and…

Great Dog Food - my new review

I have a 3 year old Cocker Spaniel who loves this dog food. He went from the Royal Canin puppy food to the adult Cocker Spaniel food. It has kept him in excellent health and he doesn't have any digestive issues. His teeth are great and his coat is shiny and soft.

Pros
  • The dog seems to like it. She seems to be doing well on it.
Cons
  • May lead to weight gain in certain dogs

Too hard and too big for older dogs.

My 34 pound cocker seems to be attracted to the food and it came recommended by the vet but the pieces are quite large and EXTREMELY hard. My old guy has few teeth left and his 17 pound sister is just too small to get them in her mouth. Neither was able to crunch the pieces into smaller ones. He was swallowing them whole- not good for his old gut. I tried soaking them in water, beef broth etc but after 10 hours they were still mostly rock hard. I wrapped them in a cloth and smacked them with a…

Pros
  • The food made my dogs day. She is now very healthy.
Cons
  • May contain too much fat for some dogs
