Required to use PC speakers on your TV

Just what you need to connect your Logitech PC speakers to your TV. The Sony TV I use only has RCA outputs, not the 3.5mm outputs that PC speakers would use. By plugging in this adapter, the TV immediately recognized the PC speakers and now I have great sound on my living room TV for any gaming consoles that would normally play sound through the TV speakers. Using this adapter didn't freeze the TV's speakers, so they play along with the Logitech speakers, which isn't a problem. I can increase…

Better than expected

Better quality than expected. Meaning: The BuildPlastics used is remarkably malleable and flexible. Feels like healthy plastic, not dry, brittle or hard. Means the polymer used doesn't feel cheap. The sound quality is as if it doesn't exist. What is the end goal of an adapter, right? The sound quality is crisp and clear, and I haven't noticed any loss, distortion, or noise. Does what it promises. What more could you want, some gold hidden in the cable? Price A little over a dollar is a fair…

A basic cable that's hard to find

I've been looking all over town for this cable but couldn't find it so I turned to Revain. Of course I was not disappointed, because this is exactly the cable I was looking for. I wanted to hook up my old computer speakers and subwoofer to my TV for better sound from movies, sports, and quiet TV shows. Unfortunately, my TV didn't have a stereo connection; Instead it had RCA connectors, which didn't do me much good. When I finally had this item I hooked everything up, turned on the TV and…

good quality and did the job

As expected it was exactly what the doctor ordered. Good quality and did what I needed. Interestingly, it was almost impossible to buy it in every store. They had a lot of male RCA plugs but none for females. Worked great for my application. I had a set of wireless headphones for my TV, my new Toshiba flat screen TV doesn't have any audio outputs - how stupid. Apparently many flat screens now don't have audio jacks other than optical - that's what happened to the standard 3.5mm jack. The local…

Cheap! + EFFICIENT! = :)

I bought this adapter to connect my TV's RCA audio output to a basic 2.1 computer speaker system. Checked at Walmart (found Scosche adapters with some other iPad/Pod accessories for $12, more than I need), Radio Shack (local store didn't even have this type of adapter; it would require more than 3 different adapters to snap together Setup total about $24), Newegg, where I usually buy electronics, started at about $8.50 (either $8.50 for the cable and free shipping, or $1-3 for the adapter and…

Pros
  • Not just useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Without insurance

Well made quality product

I used this cable adapter to connect a set of computer speakers to my flat screen TV. I put them next to my father's chair, who has a hearing problem, so the sound shouldn't be too loud for others in the room. This cable plugged directly into the audio out of the TV and I was able to connect computer speakers with a 3.5mm jack to this adapter. Please note that the AUX output on this TV (Visio) has a fixed volume and does not change with the volume controls or mute on the main TV. That was fine…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth

I bought a couple of these because I wanted to hook up some Belkin F8Z492TTP Bluetooth music receiver components to my stereo and some amplified speaker components. For the price I was expecting cheap and thin cables that would be great for connecting receivers to RCA jacks in a stereo and powered speakers. Suffice it to say I got more than I expected, especially for the eighty-eight cents and free shipping. For adapting 3.5mm to dual RCA, a length of 6 inches is more than adequate. What…
