I clean the sock of leaves and dirt, wash it off, and re-use it until it wears out. That way, the package lasts a long time. During my first pool ownership, I did not know about these pool skimmer socks. Now I do. These skimmer socks do an amazing job at keeping the pool clean by catching smaller things that get through the basket. Amazing product!

Must remove skimmer basket handle to install. Used one in each skummer and definitely kept stuff out of filter. Decided not to use anymore as would have to replace daily as pool is surrounded by trees.

These were 14.99 for a pack of 30 when I bought them. The local store is selling a two pack for 15.99 and they aren’t even as nice. These showed up quickly. It was supposed to be next day but I got mine the same day I ordered them.

If you have leaves and debris entering your pool these are really great to use. When it is clogged with debris simply replace. I did leave one on for a few weeks and the fabric disintegrated, my bad. They keep the main filter cleaning to a minimum.They don't seem to slow the pump down even when clogged.

The best way to keep your main filter from getting to contaminated so often! The do wonders keeping your pool clean. There are cheaper options available on the market.

We live in a high pollen area. We ordered the socks because ours neighbors have a willow which drops a ton of leaves and was stopping up all 3 filters. Using the socks it stops the leaves and the pollen. VERY HAPPY

These things are great! They catch debris that otherwise ends up in the sand filter. Moreover, they also manage to catch algae (how can I tell; because the backwash never has a green tint). Moreover, they are relatively inexpensive.

Great deal on a 30 pack. They almost work too well! They filtered out a huge amount of algae at pool season startup. I will definitely be buying again!

Best thing for my pool ever.I had no idea how much crud and hair there was that my baskets were too big to catch.Hair will ruin your pump motor, for me it is worth using 1 per week to extend the life of my motor.It also appears to absorb oils from Sunscreen and such which is an odd side, benefit perhaps?Buy to keep hair and such away from the impeller, these are awesome.

These skimmer socks help save my filter and equipment. My two black labs swim daily and the amount of dog hair is unbelievable! I Chang out these socks almost daily, realizing how much hair I prevent from going through the system. It also collects bugs, leaves, leaf particles and other stuff. Most important, it lets me feel good about swimming with my fur Babies!

I really don't have much debris falling into my pool, so these seem to last longer than I thought. I am able to re-use these after cleaning, I get about 1-1/2 to 2 weeks out of each sock. Do not use these if you add chlorine to your pool via the skimmer, they will deteriorate very quickly when exposed to chlorine tablets. They do pick up quite a bit of fine dirt as well as larger contaminants

I have spent so much on these filter socks when buying from pool stores. Like $7.99 for 10 socks! I’d rinse them out to get 2 uses out of them until they got threadbare or torn. No more of that!

I love using these socks. They catch lots of the tiny debris that would normally reach my large canister filters. Since using these socks and my Hayward Tiger Shark pool cleaner, I only clean my 4 cartridges from the main filter once a year. Great skimmer bag, these are a little thicker. Seems to catch more than the last bags I used. I like these better. My Pool is crystal clear.

My pool uses pleated filters and the longer I can go without taking the filter housing apart to pressure wash my filters, the better. These socks catch the small stuff that would normally get past the skimmer and into your pool filter. The only issue is that you need to check your skimmer basket a bit more often to keep it from clogging up. Love these.

These skimmer socks do a great job saving wear on the filter. If you have a problem with tree debris and other foreign objects getting into your pool, these socks capture it all. I change out the sock every week and clean the filter every two weeks.
