fits forster 2001 L no problem

my gas mileage has dropped to 20-22 in the city when i was lucky it was 15-17. After replacing the old dirty air filter, I felt and heard the difference from the engine with the new K&N filter. I'll have to wait and see how much my mileage improves. I use K&N filters in all my family's cars, they are cheaper in the long run, after 36,000 kilometers the filter pays for itself in just one filter change, not counting the increased fuel consumption and the time and labor saved when changing the air

Perfect replacement for a 2003 Forester

I replaced my old paper filter right after I bought a 2003 Subaru Forester. One K&N filter costs about the same as four paper filters, giving a K&N payback period of less than two years. Not to mention the slightly better performance you'd expect from more airflow. After installing this filter I noticed a smoother overall power delivery from my 2.5. Price combined with performance is a winning combination. This is my third K&N that I have bought and I have never had a single problem with any of

I'm now averaging 24+mpg on a regular 87 (with ethanol) and on the high 25 about 26mpg on an 87 without ethanol. I wish I could prove it, but since it's on the internet, rest assured. MUST be true :) Ethanol-free gas really helps (especially on older cars!) I didn't believe it either until I tried it. The air filter pays off. By the end of the year, this…

Excellent replacement parts investment

I have never owned any of these products and was skeptical about buying after seeing the price at the local dealership and even here. At some points where they changed the oil, they told me different things. I'm a full-time student and I'm looking for ways to save money on anything. I've switched back and forth to ethanol and non-ethanol gas, air conditioning with windows off, platinum spark plugs, etc. I have a 2000 Subaru Outback with 272,000 miles on it. As a four-wheel drive, I knew it…
