Excellent. That's exactly what I wanted. Small enough to fit nicely in my tool belt and very good quality lugs to hold the locking ring without slipping off. Very satisfied.

and the tips are bent! I bought the Knipex for a specific reason, thinking it would be strong enough. I ended up buying a $15 freighter at the docks outfitted with a bunch of tips. Unfortunately I cannot return it as it is already in use.

Works great. Unfortunately, although this is the smallest Knipex I could find, it was still too big for my task. The good news is that the angle of the struts is spot on. I also have channel locks but the angle is not the same so the clip just falls off. The Knipex works great, as expected, is well made and should last a long time. Cry once, enjoy the instrument for the rest of your life.

Exactly what I expected from knipex. They hold the snap ring better than anything I've used before. I've been trying detachable tips for a while and now it's just graduated. I spent money on a few pairs that I usually use to make my life easier. It's comfortable and works better than anything else out there. You get what you pay for and this is another example.

They are great. All snap ring pliers from Knipex are great. If you're trying to get into a tight spot or intend to use a lot of them, feel free to buy them. Quality changes the world. At my previous job, they were our most important tool. At my current job I tried using the cheaper sets they had and immediately started buying my own Knipex pliers. They're not cheap, but they're worth the money

Update: I'll tell you, very often I buy a quality tool and then wonder if I really need it. It was like one of those moments. Til today. I needed to remove the front wheel from my John Deere tractor. Some tools can be bought cheaper and not used. HF has been making them for decades. When working with snap rings the most expensive pliers are always the cheapest ones you buy to save a dollar. They just add their cost to the price of the good pliers you buy anyway. Cheap snap ring pliers are bloody IMPOSSIBLE to work, they will NEVER save you enough money to make up for the time and frustration you put into them.
